Ezennia Rosemary Azuka (ERA) Foundation is proud to announce its scholarship programs aimed at empowering highly deserving students from secondary schools across Nigeria. Our scholarships are designed to provide financial support and educational opportunities to talented students who demonstrate exceptional academic potential. With the goal of fostering excellence and promoting equal access to quality education, we welcome applications from students across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the ERA Foundation Scholarship programs, students must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled in junior secondary schools (JSS1), or senior secondary schools (SS1) by September, 2023.
- Display outstanding academic achievements and potential
- Belong to any of the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria
Application Process
We encourage students, parents or guardians to apply on behalf of their children (including student living with disabilities) for the ERA Foundation 2023 Scholarships. To begin the application process, please download the scholarship application form provided below. Once filled out, submit the application form along with your JSS2 third term result to scholarship@eraf.org.ng.
As a requirement for the application, you must submit a One-Minute Video Post on Social Media. In this video, you should introduce yourself, your school, and your class. Explain why you believe you are the ideal candidate for the scholarship and tag the ERA Foundation social media pages and use the hashtags #ERAFoundation #Scholarship #2023.

Selection Process
Our selection process is rigorous and comprehensive, ensuring that deserving students are chosen for the ERA Foundation Scholarships. The evaluation criteria include:
- Academic performance and potential
- Socio-economic background and financial need
- Passion for learning and commitment to personal growth
A dedicated selection committee will review all applications and conduct interviews with shortlisted candidates. Final decisions will be based on the committee’s assessment and recommendations.

Scholarship Benefits
The ERA Foundation Scholarship offers a comprehensive package of support to the selected recipients. This package may include:
- Full coverage of tuition fees from junior secondary schools (JSS1), and senior secondary schools (SS1) to the University level until graduation.
- Provision of textbooks, study materials, and stationery
- Assistance with accommodation expenses, if applicable
The duration of the scholarship will be specified in the award letter, and additional support may be provided to ensure the success and well-being of the recipients throughout their educational journey.
